59pc sanitation coverage achieved till June 30

About 59 percent sanitation coverage has been achieved across the country till June 30. Besides cent percent sanitation coverage was achieved in 444 unions, 20 upazilas and 15 municipalities in the country till June. It was disclosed at a meeting of National Sanitation Task Force at the LGRD and Cooperatives ministry. National Sanitation Task Force president and Local Government Division secretary AHM Abul Kashem presided over the meeting. Chief Advisor to the National Sanitation Task Force and LGRD and Cooperatives Minister Abdul Mannan Bhuiyan, and Advisor and State Minister for LGRD and Cooperatives Ziaul Haq Zia spoke at the meeting. Bhuiyan expressed his satisfaction over the success in sanitation coverage.
