No ban on hijab in France!

I write to you on the report "Moudud against ban on hijab." I am a French citizen and I want to say that people are spreading wrong information about my country. There is NO ban on the use of hijab in France! The law says clearly that you are not allowed to wear hijab inside primary and high public school (you can in private school). That is all! You can wear it in the street, in the movie theatre, in the restaurant, at the university. So the law minister shouldn't be surprised that "such a discriminatory law has been passed in the country."
