12th Council of Sramik Federation held in city

Leaders of Jatiya Sramik Federation (JSF) urged the government to announce wage commission including implementation of proposed labour law and to reopen all the closed factories.They also demanded trade union rights for the garment workers while speaking at the organisation's 12th Council at National Press Club auditorium in the city on Friday. They criticised the government for not taking any action against the owners of the factories, who did not implement the labour law and are continuing repression on the workers.
