Campaign to reduce cell phone call charge

A week-long signature campaign to press reduction in cell phone call charge began in the town on Friday. People are spontaneously putting their signatures on white sheets of fabric hung in different areas of the town by the Mobile Phone Subscribers Society, a newly floated organisation. This programme was formally inaugurated at Chowmuhana in the town. The organisers said they will spread the campaign to rural areas also.
