Compered by popular actor and theatre activist Khaled Khan, the programme began with Tagore's poems. Celebrated singer Mita Haq and the artists of Nandan rendered timeless songs by Tagore.

Rita Majumdar, Mukti Proshad, Neelotpal Shadhya, Anjuman Ferdousy Kakoli, Neelanjana Chowdhury, Saiful Islam, Khan, Tanzina Parveen Tana, Sayeeda Hossain Papri and Pijush Kanti Barua performed a variety of songs as well.

The songs included the widely rendered Ami chini go chini, Chhinno patar Shajai taroni and Bepodey Morey rokkha karo and uncommon numbers like Tumi Kon bhanganer potehy dey, Didoney delkha holo and Hay go bethay katha jay dubey go.

Muhammad was on the keyboard while Almas Dewan was on the violin, Mrityanjay Majumdar played the tabla and Nazmun Alam was on mandira.

This was the twelfth such programme by Nandan.
