Robbery at a city house

Armed robbers looted 35 tolas of gold ornaments from a house at Shaheenbagh in Tejgaon last night.A gang of eight entered the ground floor house of Haji Abdur Razzak pressing door bell when male members went out of the house to offer tarabi prayers at about 9:00pm. The robbers held the family members hostage and took the keys of almirahs at gun point. The gang then looted the gold ornaments and left the house. On receiving information, a team of Tejgaon police went to the spot.
