2 criminals held in Ctg

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested two top-notch criminals and recovered one rifle in separate drives in Chittagong and Feni in last two days. On information, a Rab squad arrested Riaz Uddin Majumder alias Tipu, a listed criminal, from in front of his house at East Banshpara under Chhagolnaya thana in Feni at around 2.00am yesterday. Tipu is and an accused in twelve cases, sources said. In another raid, Rab zarrested one Md Harunur Rashid of Badhupara under Raozan thana in Chittagong on Thursday night. Rashid, son of late Kala Mia of Bacha Shah Nagar under Rangunia upazila, is an accused in several cases including murder and abduction.
