UCEP painting exhibition begins today

A month-long painting exhibition, organised by Underprivileged Children's Educational Programmes (UCEP)-Bangladesh, begins in the city today to raise funds.Selected artworks of some 25,000 UCEP students will be put on display, says a press release. UCEP Chairperson M Sirajul Islam will formally inaugurate the exhibition at the UCEP head office at Mirpur-2. Renowned artist Shishir Bhattacharjee will be present as special guest. The exhibition will remain open from 9:00am to 4:30pm daily (except Eid holidays) till November 20.
