One killed, 3 hurt in B'baria landslide

One person was killed and three others were injured in a landslide at Akabpur village in Kasba upazila on Thursday.Eye witnesses and police sources said, a portion of a hill collapsed while four labourers were cutting it in the morning. As a result, Dulal Mia, 35, son of Hasan Ali, Billal Mia, 24, son of Abbu Mia, Hiron Mia, 25, son of Idris Mia, Abdus Samad, 26, son of Asmat Ali were injured seriously. Of them, Billal Mia died on way to hospital and rest others were admitted to Kasba Upazila Health Complex and Comilla hospital Kasba Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Habibur Rahman and Kasba Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Khus Ahmed Chowdhury visited the spot.
