Teachers demand festival bonus

The National Front of Teachers and Employees (NFTE) yesterday demanded payment of festival bonus by today.

It would arrange black flag processions across the country on October 31, if its demand goes unheeded.

The teachers and employees also demanded endorsement of full festival allowance and release of payment order.

The government employees have got their salary for October, but most of the teachers and employees of private schools and colleges are yet to receive their salary even for September, said the Front leaders in a statement yesterday.

They called all the teachers and employees to make the rally on October 31 a success.
