BPDM distribute dress among underprivileged school children
Bangladesh Peace and Development Mission (BPDM) distributed dress among 250 underprivileged students of BPDM School on the Govt Titumir College campus in the city on October 26, says a press release. Israt Jahan moderated the function with BPDM President MM A Bashar in the chair. Dr Ubaidur Rob, Country Director of Population Council, was present as chief guest while Govt Titumir College Principal Prof Dr Azizur Rahman special guest. Vice-Principal Prof Nasrin Sultana, Nurunabi Alam and Abdul Quddus Talukder were present on the occasion. BPDM is running a school for the underprivileged working children on the Govt Titumir College campus. About 250 poor working children are studying at the school. BPDM gives them dress free of cost. Dr Ubaidur Rob said the BPDM school will help the poor children to be good citizens and be self-reliant.
