German to make comedy about Adolf Hitler
Director Dani Levy, whose hit Jewish comedy Go For Zucker! swept this year's German Film Awards, will tackle the taboo subject of Adolf Hitler in his next comedy.The Swiss-born Levy will write and direct Mein Fuehrer -- Die wirklich wahrste Wahrheit ueber Adolf Hitler (My Fuehrer -- The Really Truest Truth About Adolf Hitler). The comedy is still at the development stage. Go For Zucker, originally planned as a TV movie, earned US $7 million at the German box office. It swept the German Film Awards in July, picking up six Golden Lola statuettes, including best film and best direction. Source: CNN Online
