The Zia International Airport immigration authority yesterday arrested nine people for producing fraudulent passport and visa.

The airport police said the immigration authorities arrested the nine, all aged 24-40, for carrying fake passports and visas for Dubai at 11:30am and later handed to them.

The arrestees said they were on their way to South Africa via Dubai and they secured the passports by themselves while obtained the visas through travel agencies, the police said quoting them.

The police could not give any details of the nine.
