On the occasion, eminent personalities related to film and media were invited to the Cineplex. Dr Muhammad Mahbubur Rahman, Chairperson of Bangladesh Film Censor Board, also the Secretary of Ministry of Information, was the chief guest of the event. The list of special guests included Abu Abdullah, Vice Chairperson, Bangladesh Film Censor Board, noted filmmaker Tareque Masud, Esrarul Haque, executive director of Channel-i, renowned actor and member of Bangladesh Film Censor Board, Ashrafuddin Ahmed Ujjal and film producer Matiur Rahman.

The event ended with a special screening of the movie Sahara, which is currently running at the Cineplex.
