According to a reliable source of Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP), the recent arrest of two IOJ leaders with JMB connection at Khulna demonstrates the existence of such a list.

The arrestees are Mufti Moulana Wakkas Ali Gazi, arrested on December 4 at Dakop upazila, and Moulana Mohiuddin Faruqi, arrested on December 6 at Mistripara in Khulna thana. Police recovered leaflets and documents from them containing guidelines to carry out militant operations.

The source said some local leaders of Jamaat and IKNMB are also on the watch-list and law enforcement agencies are investigating if they are involved with Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB).

A senior officer of KMP said they (police) are checking and rechecking the secret information about the connection of JMB with the listed Jamaat, IOJ and IKNMB leaders of Khulna.
