Extortionists stab 2 traders in Keraniganj

Two businessmen were stabbed indiscriminately by two extortionists at Islampur in the upazila on Friday. Police quoting local people said the extortionists Moktar and Shah Alam injured fruit traders Asgar, 32, and Shahidul, 30, with sharp weapons failing to realise Tk 5,000 as toll from them. They were rushed to the Sir Salimullah Medical College Hospital where condition of Shahidul was stated to be critical.
