Water crisis at CU Pritilata Hall

The resident students of Pritilata Hall of Chittagong University (CU) yesterday submitted a memorandum to the vice-chancellor demanding uninterrupted supply of water in the hall.

In the memorandum the students alleged that there was not a single drop of water at the dormitory which had been experiencing irregular supply of water for the last six months.

As a result, the students had to suffer a lot of troubles while some were forced to leave the hall.

Earlier, the agitating students brought out a procession demanding regular and sufficient supply of water to the dormitory.

While receiving the memo, VC Prof AJM Nuruddin Chowdhury assured the students of taking necessary measures to address the problem within ten days.
