A total of 57 teams -- 55 district teams along with Jessore Education Board and Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan (BKSP) -- will take part in the knockout first round.

Eight zonal champions will participate in the second round which begin in the third week of January.

The opening day's matches are: Joypurhat vs Sirajganj at Gaibandha Stadium, Chittagong vs Feni at Rangamati Stadium, Magura vs Jhenidah at Satkhira Stadium, Gazipur vs Jamalpur at Tangail Stadium, Nilphamari vs Noagaon at Kurigram Stadium, Dhaka vs Rajbari at Manikganj Stadium, Khulna vs Jessore at Bagerhat Stadium.
