Tight security measures on 31st night at Ctg

Tight security measures are being taken with the deployment of huge law enforcers to avert any untoward incidents during the celebration of thirty-first night in the port city. A large contingent of 3000 forces of police including those in riot gears and BDR, and some 500 members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) will maintain law and order in the city particularly at Patenga sea beach area, said sources in Chittagong Metropolitan Police. Over one hundred check-posts are being set up at different points on the roads leading to the sea-beach. Driving will be restricted in the seashore area.
