Cicinho's Real debut delayed

Real Madrid signing Cicinho will not make his debut in Tuesday's King's Cup match against Athletic Bilbao because the club has yet to receive his transfer documents from the Brazilian Football Federation.Real's website said that the paperwork had not been completed in time because the offices of the federation had been closed over the Christmas break. The Brazil right back joined Real on a five-year deal from Sao Paulo on Dec. 23 for a reported fee of around 4 million euros ($4.76 million) and had been included in the squad that travelled to Bilbao on Monday. Real are also hoping to strengthen their squad with another mid-season reinforcement by signing Italy striker Antonio Cassano from AS Roma this week.
