Use environment-friendly pesticides

The present drive is against the use of chemical pesticides because these cause serious damage to the environment, which creates health hazard for both humans and animals. So, it should be our prime task to help and encourage farmers to use any type of environment-friendly materials or techniques to protect their crops against pests and diseases.Meanwhile, it is gathered from a press report that farmers in the south-western districts are passing through an acute crisis of their wonder pesticide-"Pheromone" which is low-cost, highly effective and environment-friendly. It is understood that the National Resource Institute (NRI) in UK is the only pheromone producing and marketing organisation in the world. May I request the concerned authorities of Bangladesh to take urgent steps to import pheromone as soon as possible?
