The play revolves around Asad, a retired service-holder and his family. The honest Asad has never given into the lure of accepting bribes. One fine morning, when he reads in the newspaper that Bangladesh has made it again to the list of top corrupt countries, Asad feels frustrated and heartbroken. Everywhere he turns, he finds people accepting and giving bribes.

Asad decides to take a stance against corruption. He starts talking to youngsters and convinces them that corruption is not the right route. Eventually, his struggle becomes a national phenomenon.

Written by Anisul Haque and directed by Taher Shipon, Ghurey Darano Swapno features actors Asaduzzaman Noor, Wahida Mallick Jolly, Rawnak Hasan and Shoeb.
