20 hurt as villagers clash in Bhola


At least 20 people were injured in a series of clashes between the inhabitants of two villages over a trifling matter in the last two days at Kutuba village of Borhanuddin upazila in Bhola.

The police arrested four people in this connection on Saturday night after a case was filed with the Borhanuddin Police Station in this regard.

Police and local sources said clashes started between the followers of Farid of Kutuba village and the supporters of Kashem of Chhagla village over a love affair.

Later, it turned into a clash between the inhabitants of the two villages.
