"The man was chopped to death and the body, clad in jeans trouser and shirt, was dumped at an empty compound of a house at Mollartek," said Officer-in-Charge Akhtaruzzaman of Uttara Police Station.

On information, police recovered the body at about 4:30pm.

Locals could neither identify the body nor give any information about the time of dumping.
