The accused are Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) 'ehsar'Matiur Rahman Masud of Gangni in Meherpur, Rakib alias Nuruddin of Mohonpur, Rajshahi, Aslam, Habib, Nayeem, Liton, Hasan, Mintu, Amin, Tahur, Zahid, Shafik and Emran.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Kotwali Police Station Abu Hena Mostafa Kamal lodged the case on Tuesday.

Earlier in August last year, nine cases were filed with the police station in connection with the series blasts. The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) submitted charge sheet in the cases, accusing five people.

Matiar and Rakib, arrested by Rab and police on December 30, confessed in the court of a first class magistrate on January 9 that they were involved in the bomb blasts in front Kotwali Police Station.
