Cold claims 3 in Netrakona

Three people including a tribal child died of shivering cold in the last 24 hours and over 1,000 people, mostly aged and children, in Kalmakanda and Durgapur upazilas are suffering from cold-related diseases.The dead are Abdur Rahim, 62, of village Rahimpur and Aftabar Mia, 59, of village Biswanathpur under Kalmakanda upazila and Niran Nokrak, a six-year-old Garo child of Guchchhagram in Durgapur upazila of the district.
