Tribal youth killed at Kalapara

A tribal youth died at Kalapara hospital here yesterday morning 11 hours after he was critically injured in an attack by a gang of hoodlums.Mon Chin Than, 38, a Rakhain youth, was injured when the gang led by one Gomes hit him with sharp weapons at Pakia Rakhain village on Wednesday night, police said. He was admitted to Kalapara Upazila Health Complex where he died at 9:00am yesterday. The police arrested Gomes in the afternoon after a case was filed with the Kalapara Police Station.
