US embassy officials to sit with Americans on Feb 6

Top officials of the US embassy will sit with the American citizens living in Bangladesh on February 6 to discuss security issues of the past few months here.US Chargé d'Affaires Judith A Chammas and Consul Elizabeth P Gourlay, apart from the Regional Medical Officer and the Regional Security Officer, will also discuss the avian influenza issue, according to a US Embassy release. On December 21 last year, the US State Department issued a public announcement saying that the security situation in Bangladesh is volatile.
