4 become national professors

The government yesterday appointed four educationists as national professors for five years as per Bangladesh National Professor Resolution (appointment, conditions and facilities) 1981.They are Founder Secretary General of National Heart Foundation Prof Abdul Malik, Prof AKM Nurul Islam of the Botany Department of Dhaka University, former vice-chancellor of Bangladesh Agriculture University Prof AKM Aminul Haque and former professor of the Political Science Department of Dhaka University Talukder Moniruzzaman. The government in a notification announced the names of the four eminent educationists, who will get Tk 15,000 as honorarium every month with other facilities.
