A seven-member committee was formed in the board's much-talked about meeting on January 28 to form the committees, but no consensus could be reached as not a single meeting was held with all its seven members present.

"We couldn't finalise the committees but we prepared a draft proposal which will be submitted in tomorrow's meeting for discussion. We are planning to name only the chairmen who later will complete the job," said Reazuddin Al Mamun, one of the members on the committee.

Mamun along with BCB vice-president Aziz Al Kaiser Titoo and Khondokar Jamiluddin met yesterday to discuss the issue.

It is also expected that the meeting will finalise the working committee and select the name of the new chief executive officer (CEO).
