Jasim Palli Mela begins Feb 22 in Faridpur

The fortnight-long Jasim Palli Mela begins at Ambikapur in Faridpur on February 22. President Iajuddin Ahmed is expected to inaugurate the fair. The Mela (fair) will continue until March 7. Although the fair usually starts on January 1 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the great poet, it was shifted to February due to holy Eid-ul Azha.
