Japan-Bangladesh join hands
Japan and Bangladesh ties seem to be warming up. Coming up on February 7 is the Japan Festival, jointly organised by the Embassy of Japan in Bangladesh and the Bangladesh National Museum. The composite cultural programme runs till February 18 at the Bangladesh National Museum premises, says a press release.The inauguration of the festival will be held at the Sufia Kamal Auditorium, Bangladesh National Museum. M Shamsul Islam, Minister for Information, will be the chief guest. Other distinguished guests include Director General of the National Museum, Professor Mahmudul Haque, Ambassador of Japan to Bangladesh, Matsusiro Horiguchi and other prominent personalities.
