Karate meets held in city

The 11th All-Bangladesh Milk Vita Dragon Karate Championship and the First Bangladesh-Nepal Karate Championship concluded in Dhaka last week.More than 350 contestants took part in the country's championship while 22 karatekas preparing for the SA Games to be held in Sri Lanka competed in the international meet with six gold medals going to Nepal and five golds to the hosts. Akhlas Uddin Molla, president of Bangladesh Dragon Karate Association who organised the events, distributed prizes as chief guest.
