Ferry service disrupted due to fog

Daulatdia-Paturia ferry service remained suspended for five hours due to dense fog yesterday morning.BIWTA officials said one of the ferries got stranded at a hidden char on the riverbed and others remained at the ghats on both sides. The service resumed at 9:00am after the visibility improved. The disruption caused much suffering to the passengers.
