A discussion followed with Begum Mamtaz as chairperson and Salma Elias as the chief guest. Speakers called on the organisers to hold such winter cake fairs annually. They also hailed the organisers for holding the fair--the first of its kind in Shatkhira. Three organisations emerged as the winners. Tona Tuni Pithaghar, Asmani Shishu Niketan and Satkhira Mahila Samittee were adjudged as first, second and third stalls in the competition.
