Barisal honours its cultural talents

On the occasion of the third anniversary of the Barisal Bibhag Shangskritik Shongstha, a cultural programme was held at National Theatre Stage, Shilpakala Academy recently. Eminent personalities originating from the Barisal district who have made significant contributions to our cultural arena were awarded on the occasion. The recipients of the award are Sadek Khan, Asad Chowdhury, Rezwana Chowdhury Banya, Sadya Afreen Mallick, Tapan Mahmud, Hedayat Hossain Morshed, Jewel Aich, KS Feroz, Khairul Alam Sabuj, Latifa Helen, Begum Mumtaz and Basu Dev Das.
