ICC did not warn him?

The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Tuesday clarified that it has not issued any warning to Indian coach Greg Chappell for making any comments on Shoaib Akhtar's action, as was quoted in some media reports in Pakistan.

"I have seen those reports as well, they are quoting an unknown PCB official all I could say that this has not happened, we have not done that actually what has been suggested," ICC, General Manager, Corporate Affairs, Brenden McClements told ESPN.

A Pakistani Newspaper qouted a PCB official saying the ICC has apparently warned Greg Chappell to refrain from making any comment on the bowling action of Pakistani paceman Shoaib Akhtar or face disciplinary action.
