CPC team meets Hasina

The delegation of the Communist Party of China (CPC), led by the Chairman, International Department of the CPC Central Committee, Wang Jiarui, yesterday met Leader of the Opposition in Parliament Sheikh Hasina at her Sudha Sadan residence.They discussed mainly matters of the bilateral relations and economic cooperation. During an hour-long meeting, they exchanged their experiences with Awami League leaders in different sectors, including agriculture and economy. Emerging from the meeting, Hasina's political secretary Saber Hossain Chowdhury told the journalists that there is a good relation existing between Bangladesh Awami League and the Communist Party of China and relationship between the two parties would be strengthened. AL leaders Tofail Ahmed, Abdul Jalil MP, Kazi Zafarullah MP, Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim MP, Obaidul Kader and Syed Abul Hossain were present at the meeting. Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Chai Xi was also present.
