Int'l confce on women, children begins Feb 12
State University of Bangladesh (SUB) and McMaster University, Canada will organise an international conference on "Impact of Global Issues on Women & Children" on February 12-16 at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the city, says a press release.SUB Acting Vice Chancellor Prof Dr M S Ilyas Dhami read out a written statement describing the programme details at a press conference at the National Press Club in the city yesterday. He said Dhaka conference is the third of its series that will focus on valuation and lesson learned from the initiatives aimed to improve the lives of women & children globally. President Iajuddin Ahmed will attend the inaugural ceremony as chief guest, he said.
