Pegasus lose last match


First Division Cricket League runners-up Young Pegasus ended their campaign with a defeat when they crashed to Uttara Sporting Club by seven wickets at the Dhaka University ground yesterday.

Pegasus, who finished their 17 matches with 28 points, were all out for 158 runs after electing to bat. Half-centuries by Ferdous (60) and Islam (52) helped Uttara reach 158-3 in only 37 overs.

In other matches, Dhaka wanderers (290-8) handed a 57-run defeat on Eskaton Sabuj Sangha (233-9) at the Fatullah Stadium while third-from bottom Mariner Young's Club (202-4) recorded a 6-wicket win over Gazi Tank (198) at the City Club ground.
