Pak veterans to play 5 friendly matches


Pakistani former booters will play five friendly matches against Bangladeshi counterparts in Narayanganj, Dhaka, Cox's Bazar and Chandpur.

Pakistan team comprising former national booters will play the first match against Narayanganj Sonali Otit Club on February 28 at the Jimkhana Alauddin Khan Stadium.

Former national booters Riaz, Nipu, Aminul, Jakir, Gaous, Chunnu and others will play for Narayanganj Sonali Otit Club.

The second match will take place at Dhanmondi Club ground under the floodlight on March 1 or 2.

They will play the third match against Dhaka Sonali Otit Club on March 3 at Jimkhana Alauddin Khan Stadium in Narayanganj.

However, Cox's Bazar and Chandpur matches are yet to finalise.

Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) joint secretary and president of Sonali Otit Club Ashrafuddin Ahmed Chunnu told reporters at a press conference at the BFF House Sunday. Former Pakistani booters were also present.

A 22-member Pakistani team arrived here on Friday.
