Presentation of crests to the founder members and former presidents of the club, prize giving ceremony and a colourful cultural function marked the concluding ceremony held on the club premises.

On this occasion, the club organised various activities, including swimming, tennis and snooker competitions among the members.

Besides, a friendly cricket match will be held between Uttara Club and Dhaka Club on March 24 at Gulshan.

Club President Bazlur Rahim told the journalists that for the first time they presented crests to their all former presidents and founder members at the function for their contribution to the club.

Executive committee members led by the club president also distributed prizes among the winners of the sports competitions at the function on Monday night.

Uttara Club has emerged as a major social club in the city since its launch in early 1990s.
