Creative competition for children

Surf Excel Creative Competition 2006 for children was held at the Comilla Stadium premises recently. Deputy Commissioner, Mohammed Mizanur Rahman attended as chief guest. Mohammod Hossain, Polob Das Liton and Sultan Shahariar, teachers of Comilla Arts School were the jury members at the event. A large number of children from 15 schools, divided into two groups, participated in the function. The prizes went to the Nazrul Memorial School, Rose Garden International School and Comilla Residential School and College. Later, the deputy commissioner delivered a speech and distributed prizes. He thanked the organisers, pointing out that such functions will go a long way in developing childrens' creativity. The contest was organised by Unilever Bangladesh.
