Mahbub passes away

Veteran chess player and writer Kazi Mahbub Hossain breathed his last at a local hospital yesterday (Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Razeun). He was suffering with lung cancer.He was the son of Kazi Motahar Hossain, literateur and founder of Bangladesh Chess Federation. Chess officials, players and organisers expressed their deep shock at the death of the former chess player. They also conveyed their heartfelt condolences to his bereaved family.
