Strike observed at JU peacefully

A daylong strike, enforced at all educational institutions across the country protesting recent Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) attack on the students of Eden University College, was observed peacefully at Jahangirnagar University (JU) yesterday.All academic activities came to near halt as the activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) barred the teachers from taking classes. Students' turnout was also low at the university. The BCL activists, however, kept the year final or semester final examinations out of the purview of the strike.
