Int'l Day for Children's Theatre celebrated
To mark International Day for Children's Theatre, Peoples Theatre Association held a day-long programme on March 20, according to a press release. Hundreds of youngsters marched in a rally from Shishu Academy. Liaqat Ali Lucky, secretary general of People Theate Association, inaugurated the programme. Besides Liaqat Ali, delegates from other countries also spoke at the occasion. The cultural programme started with a circus. Different theatre groups then presented dance recitals, songs, mime and puppet show. In total 18 children's organisation including, Peoples Little Theatre, Tongi Shishu Theatre, Bandhumahal Shilpi Shangstha, Kishore Theatre, Nandan Shishu Natyadol and others participated at the event.
