55 vie for 27 directors of BKMEA

Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturer and Exporter Association (BKMEA) election scheduled for April 8 will be a direct clash between the 'Knit Oikya Parishad' and the 'Sammilita Knit Forum'. BKMEA sources said a total of 55 members from two panels, including one independent candidate, are contesting for 27 director posts. The elected directors will elect a president and three vice presidents. The withdrawal of the candidature was March 16. Mohammed Hatem is leading 'Sammilita Knit forum' panel incumbent President of the association Fazlul Haque is leading 'Knit Oikya Parishad' panel.
