1 killed, 27 hurt in road accident

At least one garment worker was killed and 27 were injured as a bus carrying them careered across the road and fell into a roadside ditch in Ashulia last night.Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) sources said 28 wounded garment workers were rushed to the hospital around 10:30pm. An unidentified youth aged around 25 died soon after they were committed to the hospital. The injured said the accident occurred when they were returning to Dhaka from their workplace, Southeast Sweater, in Ashulia around 9:00pm.
