See-saw battle at BKSP


Bangladesh A failed to continue on a good start from the previous day as they were bowled out for 295 runs, with a deficit of 114 runs, in their first innings on the third day of the four-day match at BKSP yesterday.

Tushar Imran fell at 63, after remaining not out on 50 overnight while his partner Sakib Al Hassan also reached 69 before falling to Rangana Herath.

The left-arm spinner from the second string side of the island nation took 5 for 72 while Ganegama and Mohammed took two each.

Bangladesh A again staged a late comeback, thanks to the first innings hero Enamul Jr who picked up three more as Sri Lanka slipped to 113 for 5 at the end of day 3. Jehan Mubarak again led from the front as he was unbeaten on 59.
