M Billal Hossain, 32, father of two children, had been working as night guard for long at Nahar Academy High School.

Pallabi police said they recovered the body of Billal breaking open the door of a classroom on the second floor of the school. He hanged himself with a nylon rope from a ceiling fan.

The school authorities said he came to the school last night to perform his duty as usual.

In the next morning, Headmistress Mahmuda Khatun used a duplicate key to open the gate as she found the gate of the school locked from inside and looked for the guard.

She also found that the door of a classroom was shut from inside and the guard was missing. Then she informed the police who recovered the body of the guard breaking open the door.

The school authorities said Billal might have been committed suicide over family feud with his wife, who has been staying in Dubai for the last three years.

Besides, his two sons stay at his father-in-law's house not with him (Billal), authorities added.
